PURPOSE:To readily machine and to inexpensively manufacture a normal/reverse rotatable motor by opening two stators with holes of irregular gap for surrounding a rotor, and deciding the stopping position of the rotor at no current flowing time in the prescribed relation to the pole. CONSTITUTION:A normal/reverse rotatable motor has a permanent magnet rotor 1 magnetized at N- and S-poles, a pair of stator poles 2a, 2b opposed through the rotor 1, two stators 2, 3 respectively having poles 2a, 3a opened with holes 4, 5 engaged at a gap with the rotor 1 and disposed at a gap in the axial direction of the rotor 1, and coils 4, 5 for exciting the two stators 2, 3. The holes 4, 5 opened at the stators 2, 3 are irregular at the gap for surrounding the rotor 1. The directions of the magnetic fluxes generated at the poles 2a, 3a of the stators 2, 3 at current flowing time of the coils 6, 7 are displaced at the prescribed angles, and the stopping position of the rotor 1 at no current flowing time is disposed at the center of the prescribed angle. |
