PURPOSE:To improve a reflection factor to green light ever so better as well as to secure such a fluorescent lamp as being improved in various characteristics, by applying yellowish green system pigment particles to the surface of a green light emitting phosphor. CONSTITUTION:(Ti, Cr and Sb) oxided pigment particles of 0.95wt% to (La, Ce, Tb)2O3.0.2SiO2.0.9P2O5 of a green light emitting phosphor and (Co, Ni, Ti and Zn) pigment particles are suspended in an acrylic emulsion solution and then the green light emitting phosphor is thrown thereinto. After sufficient stirring, when the emulsion solution is filtered and dried up, the green light emitting phosphor with a yellowish green system pigment is secured. With this phosphor, a fluorescent lamp is produced in an ordinary process. Since this fluorescent lamp is covered with the yellowish green system pigment, a reflection factor to green light is well improved so that it is excellent in reproducibility for green color. |
