<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the corrosion and to enhance the efficiency in recovering waste heat by keeping low-temp. parts such as a lower hopper part and a lower dust collecting plate, etc. in the main body of the dust collector at a temp. higher than the dew point of a corrosive gas by introducing a part of the high- temp. mainstream gas. CONSTITUTION:Waste gas 3, introduced into the main body 1 of a dust collector from a gas inlet 2, passes between dust collecting plates, and reaches the inlet of an outlet contracted part 6, where a part of the mainstream gas 10 strikes against a circulating flow increasing plate 12, and flows in the direction opposite to the mainstream gas 10 as a circulating flow 13. Consequently, a decrease in temp. due to the leakage flow 11 of atmosphere from the bottom part of a hopper is reduced, and the temp. from the lowermost part of the dust collecting plate to the bottom of the hopper is elevated and kept at a temp. higher than the dew point of a corrosive gas. Besides, since the gas temp. in the apparatus is made uniform, the temp, of the inlet gas can be lowered, and a low- load operation can be carried out with high recovery efficiency of waste heat.</p> |
