PURPOSE:To obtain a nonaqueous electrolyte battery which indicates excellent characteristic of the battery under low temperatures without lowering the initial characteristic and the preservative characteristic under the ordinary temperatures by using the mixture of electrolytic manganese dioxide and chemical manganese dioxide as active material for a positive pole. CONSTITUTION:Electrolytic manganese dioxide and chemical manganese dioxide are mixed in the weight percent of 50:50 to prepare active material. Paste which is mixed with 8pts.wt. of graphite as conductive agent, 1pt.wt. of fluororesin as binding agent and 1pt.wt. of the aqueous solution of polyvinylalcohol as the solution of the paste to 90pts.wt. of the active material is applied to a core body made of a stainless net, and this is dried to make a positive pole. By providing the positive pole and the nonaqueous electrolyte, it is possible to obtain a nonaqueous electrolyte battery which indicates excellent characteristic of the battery under low temperature without lowering the initial characteristic and the preservative characteristic under the ordinary temperatures. |
