PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of a covering work, by a method wherein, after the splash area of a steel pipe pile installed upright in water in a bay is covered with plural sheating covers through the medium of a guide frame formed with a hoop steel and a corrugated plate, a pouring material is poured in the outer periphery of the pile to cure the pouring material. CONSTITUTION:When the portion, being slightly above a tide area and splash area, of a steel pipe pile P, installed upright in a range of from the sea bottom to the sea surface, is covered with plural corrosion preventing covers 6, a tray 1 is first installed around the portion, located in a level equal to the lowermost end of the corrosion preventing cover 6, of the steel pipe pile P. Secondly, guide frames 2, formed in a manner that a corrugaed plate 5 is nipped between hoop steel plates 3 and 4, are located to a portion, sized to be equivalent to the length intended to be covered with the sheathing cover 6, above the tray 1 and around the steel pipe pile P. Thirdly, the sheating covers 6 are disposed, in order, to the outer periphery of the guide frame 2, and a filling material 10 is poured and cured between the steel pipe pile P and the sheathing cover 6. This enables imprevement of the efficiency of a work to construct the corrosion cover. |
