PURPOSE:To facilitate code preparation of cards for various kinds of service and confirmation by preparing desired magnetic codes freely on a card by using a simply utilizable magnetic code preparing device. CONSTITUTION:Shop codes, etc. of a tenant shop that issues the card are written on a record writing section MSL formed on a magnetic strips MS. An exciting type magnetic code preparing devices 1... are attached in correpondence to code preparing columns MS1-MS4 of the magnetic stripe MS. It is possible to slide a shielding board 3 made of insulating materials such as rubber, etc., to close a window and to shield between the tip of the magnetic code preparing devices 1... and the magnetic stripe MS to prevent the magnetic field zone MF from extending to the code preparing columns MS1-MS4. For instance, in the case where the shielding board 3 is slid by one step to the left, a magnetic code in which MS1-MS3 are magnetized is prepared. |
