<p>PURPOSE:To improve adhesion and to shorten pressing and heating times during bonding, by blending a dithiocarmatate salt with an adhesive base for rubber, which is mainly composed of a chlorinated polymer. CONSTITUTION:0.5-20pts.wt. dithiocarbamate salt is blended with 100pts.wt. (on a solid basis) adhesive base for rubber, which is mainly composed of a chlorinated polymer such as chlorinated ethylene/propylene rubber, thus obtaining the desired adhesive compsn. for rubber. Examples of the dithiocarbamate salts are nickel dibutylditiocarbamate and nickel diethyldithiocarbamate. These dithiocarbamates are commercially available as antioxidant.</p> |
