PURPOSE:To detect a signal attenuation level of an existing power line by providing a transmitter and an attenuation level display circuit connected to the power line and transmitting a carrier frequency used by the system and a test signal of the same frequency. CONSTITUTION:The transmitter 1 consists of a power supply circuit 2, a transmission amplifier circuit 3, an oscillation circuit 4 and a coupling circuit 5. A receiver 6 consists of the power supply circuit 2, the coupling circuit 5, a reception amplifier circuit 7, an A/D converter circuit 8 and a display circuit 9. The transmitter 1 is connected to the power line to transmit a test signal having a frequency the same as the carrier frequency used in the system to the power line continuously. The receiver 6 is connected to the power line, a reception/amplifier circuit 7 receives the signal on the power line, the circuit 8 applies A/D converter and the attenuated level is displayed on the display circuit 9. |
