PURPOSE:To reduce power consumption by sealing a crystal resonator shielded in vacuum and a molded IC together with a capacitor and a resistive element to constitute a crystal oscillator. CONSTITUTION:The crystal resonator unit 8 consists of a cap 1 and a base 2 and the crystal resonator (not shown in a figure) is sealed in vacuum in the inside of the unit. The unit 8 is arranged on a board 13 together with the IC9, the capacitors 10, 11 and the resistor 15. A molded IC is used for the IC9. Then a cap 14 is sealed on a base 12 on which the board 13 is arranged and an N2 gas or the like is enclosed therein. Thus, the crystal impedance value of the crystal resonator unit 8 is decreased and the power consumption is reduced. Since only the crystal resonator is subjected to vacuum sealing, the oscillator is manufactured inexpensively. |
