PURPOSE:To obtain always an abolute position at the time of rerecording a tape and to start synchronous playing of an automatic player from an arbitrary tape position by writing a SMPTE time code on a tape and calculating the readout code in accordance with the played sound. CONSTITUTION:When a SMPTE time code is inputted from a tape recorder, a SMPTE.IN5 detects a SYNC character and outputs a SYNDET signal, while a CPU1 sets an absolute time on a display register 31. When a tape is reproduced at an arbitrary position in the midst of a played music, discrimination is made that a value of the display register 31 follows hourly that of an initial time 37. Then, the value of the initial time 37 is transferred to a calculating register 38, where a memory value specified by a musical time pointer 35 is added. Values of the display register 31 are renewed while the tape proceeds. When said value is coincident with the value of the calculating register 38, the CPU1 transmits a MIDI continuity start message, and a synthesizer starts playing. |
