PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lubricating oil composition usable not only as a cutting fluid but also as a lubricating oil for machine tools such as a hydraulic working fluid or a sildeway oil without containing a chlorine-based compound at all from the viewpoint of environment or safety. SOLUTION: This lubricating oil composition comprises (A) a sulfur-based extreme-pressure additive, (B) at least one phosphorus compound selected from a phosphoric ester, a thiophosphoric ester and an amine salt thereof, (C) at least one oxygen-containing compound selected from an ester of a 6-30C fatty acid with a mono- to a hexahydric alcohol and a 6-30C aliphatic alcohol and (D) an organoboron compound based on a base oil for a lubricating oil. |
