PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a joined optical element reduced in stress due to the cure shrinkage of an adhesive on joining and with controlled occurrence of optical strain. SOLUTION: A process for producing a joined optical element by horizontally holding the joining area of one optical element 1 out of a plurality of optical elements 1, 2, applying an adhesive 3 to the joining area, and putting the joining area of the other optical element 2 together therewith to join them, wherein the plurality of optical elements 1, 2 are rotated when the joining area of the element 2 is put together with that of the element 1 for joining. |
