PURPOSE:To obtain an actuator which can obtain a large displacement with a low voltage by aligning a plurality of piezoelectric elements formed in a bimorph type, and selectively applying a voltage. CONSTITUTION:Sliders 6a, 6b of a one-dimensional actuator are interposed between guide plates 8 to be movable along guide grooves formed on the plates. Piezoelectric elements 9a, 9b formed in a bimorph type secured at both ends are respectively mounted on the upper surfaces of the sliders 6a, 6b. When a voltage is applied to the bimorph 9a, it becomes convex state at the element side, the bimorph 9a becomes contacted with the plate 8, and both become fixed state. When a voltage is applied to the bimorph 9b, it similarly becomes fixed state. Further, the bimorphs 7a, 7b are interposed between the sliders, a voltage is applied to the bimorphs 7a, 7b to alternately move laterally the sliders 6a, 6b. |
