PURPOSE:To improve reliability ever so better, by diagnosing a piping system and a solenoid stop valve themselves in time of starting operation of an air feeder for a tire. CONSTITUTION:A tire chuck 3 is connected to a compressed-air source 2 via a solenoid stop velve 1a, while it is made possible to open to the atmosphere by means of a solenoid valve 1b for exhaust use, and these solenoid stop valves 1a and 1b are opened or closed by a controlling device 6 so as to accord with the setting pressure out of an inflation pressure inputting device 5 as detecting internal pressure of the tire chuck 3 by a pressure detecting device 4, while the state of a feeder is detected on the basis of the preset procedure by means of making a power source into a circuit, and when anything unusual is recognized, operation of a feeder body is stopped by a checking device 7 housing a diagnosing sequence. With this constitution, inflation pressure is accurately adjustable and, what is more, any trouble is findable before operation starting owing to a self-diagnostic function. |
