Vibration dampers for revolving systems such as, for example, the drive train in motor vehicles, contain an annular absorber mass which is connected via an elastomeric body to a revolving coupling member. To influence the frequency position of such vibration dampers, it is customary to provide slots or cylindrical holes in the elastomeric body and, for the purpose of further tuning, to press short tubular pieces, so-called tuning tubes, into these. In order to fix these tuning tubes against unwanted migration during the operation of the vibration dampers, they are, according to the invention, shorter in dimension than would correspond to the layer thickness of the elastomeric body and are gripped positively in the axial direction between edge projections of the elastomeric material offset radially relative to one another at both ends.
