PURPOSE:To improve the incrementing accuracy in a cylindrical linear step actuator by forming threaded teeth on the circumferential surfaces of opposed stator and movable element, thereby eliminating physical contact for incrementing to reduce its loss. CONSTITUTION:Stators 1-4 on which exciting windings 5-8 are respectively wound are disposed on the inner peripheral surface of a cylinder 10, a cylindrical movable element 20 having a magnet 23 and yokes 21, 22 is mounted on a shaft 24 at the inner peripheral side of the stators 1-4 and disposed concentrically. Threaded grooves 15, 25 of the same pitch are formed by threading on the circumferential surfaces of opposed stators 1-4 and the element 20 so that the stators 1-4 and the element 20 are opposed via threaded teeth. Thus, when the windings 5-8 are energized, the element 20 increments axially while rotating along the threads, thereby eliminating a slider guide. |
