PURPOSE:To reduce the ratio of the peak value to the average value of an armature current by controlling ON or OFF a switching element so that the current becomes substantially constant in an ON enabling range specified in response to a speed deviation. CONSTITUTION:A differential voltage DELTAe between a speed detecting voltage VF and a speed set voltage VR is added at an adding point 12 with a triangular wave TW supplied from a triangular wave oscillator 13 to supply it to the set terminal S of a RS flip-flop 15. A reset pulse is supplied from a reset pulse generator 16 to a reset terminal R. The set output P1 of the flip-flop 15 is supplied through a transistor 18 to a transistor 4. On the ther hand, a comarator 21 turns ON a transistor 24 when an armature current signal ec is set signal value er or higher and ON the transistor 4.
