<p>PURPOSE:To suppress an ineffective current while the oscillation is stopped by closing a switching circuit with an oscillation stop signal and transiting forcibly a reference voltage setting side input section to a low level so as to stop the oscillation thereby stopping the oscillation surely without the provision of a complicated circuit. CONSTITUTION:A potential at the reference voltage setting side input section of a voltage comparator comprising transistors 24, 26 is transited to a low level causing oscillation stop, a base current applied to the transistor (TR)24 is discharged to ground and a switching circuit 76 is provided between the base of the TR24 and a grounding point (GND). When an oscillation stop signal is fed to a control input terminal 84 during the normal oscillation and a TR78 is conductive, the base potential of the TR24 is transited to the ground level via the TR78, the base potential of the TR24 is transited to the ground level via the TR78 and a constant current fed from the TR4 being a constant current source to the base of the TR24 is discharged to ground via the TR78. Thus, the TR24 is nonconductive and the oscillation is stopped.</p> |
