The process entails a surface of a support being coated with optionally labelled fibrin. For this purpose, a support is treated with a solution of optionally labelled fibrinogen and of a coagulant or a solution of optionally labelled fibrin or fibrinogen degradation products and, optionally, a labelling agent. A support coated in this way can be used for the detection and determination of proteins and, especially, of proteolytic enzymes.
