PURPOSE:To make a noise preventable from occurring, by forming a tooth top part and a tooth bottom land part of an inner rotor as well as a tooth top part of an outer rotor of a trochoidal pump all into a circular form and making them in mesh with one another, while making up the tooth bottom land part of the outer rotor with size larger than the tooth top part of the inner rotor. CONSTITUTION:A tooth top part 11 of an inner rotor 1 of this strochoidal pump is made up into circular form of a radius R1, while a tooth bottom land part is made up into circular form of a radius R2 and both circular arcs are smoothly connected. On the other hand, a tooth top part of an outer rotor 2 is formed into a circular arc of the radius R2 engaging the tooth bottom land part of the corresponding inner rotor, but a booth bottom land part 22 is made up into such form as the tooth top part of the inner rotor engages it with some clerance. Therefore, both rotors come into contact with each other only at a seal point of high- and low-pressure sides in consequence, thus a noise due to tooth engagement is reducible. |
