The device (1) has several compartments (4) in which a series of articles are stacked one on top of each other to make a pile (7) held at the bottom by a distribution bowl (8) that is bucket shaped upwards to allow easy one by one extraction of the articles. - The compartments are disposed one behind the other like shelves of several thicknesses and of decreasing height to give customer access to the central and rear compartment bowls. The compartments are filled from the top to give the customer the articles in sequence.
