PURPOSE:To readily assemble a motor with an accurate resolver by forming the housing of the motor of a bottomed cylindrical body and an end cover, and providing an engaging unit and bearings coaxial therewith at the body and the cover. CONSTITUTION:The housing of a motor 20 is composed of a bottomed cylindrical body 21 containing a stator coil 32 and formed with an engaging unit at the opening peripheral edge, and an end cover 22 mounted with a resolver 8 and having an engaging unit engaged with the engaging unit of the body 21. Bearings 29, 30 for a rotational shaft 28 are concentrically with the engaging units are formed at the body 21 and the end cover 22. Thus, the motor 20 and the resolver 8 are readily matched at the axes merely by engaging the body 21 with the end cover 22 by the engaging unit. |
