摘要 The organic binder is removed from green powder agglomerates consisting e.g. of a mixt. of a metal powder or ceramic powder and an organic binder formed into a desired shape by injection moulding, extrusion, rolling or film casting, by heating the powder agglomerate in an atmos. in which the O2 concn. is higher than in air. - Pref. heating is carried out in an atmos. contg. at least 40 vol. % O2, and esp. in an atmos.of pure O2. Pref. the agglomerate is heated in a gas stream, esp. in a stream of O2 at a throughput of 1 litre per hour per gram of agglomerate. Pref. the heating is carried out in two stages, first at a relatively rapid rate of ca. 50 deg.C per hour to a temp. of 100 deg.C, then at a relatively slow rate of ca. 5 deg.C per hour to a temp. of ca. 350 deg.C.
