PRODUCTION OF EASILY ELUTING CHLORELLA

PURPOSE:To obtain chlorella capable of eluting the contents thereof directly in the natural state, by reacting alkali protease with a strain of the genus Chlorella having a cell wall containing almost no alpha-cellulose at a specific pH or below to make the contents in the cells readily eluting. CONSTITUTION:Alkali protease is reacted with a strain of the genus Chlorella having a cell wall containing almost no alpha-cellulose, preferably Chlorella vulgaris E25 strain under alkaline conditions near neutral condition of 9pH or below. USE:The amount of a neutralizing agent and formed slat can be reduced.
