<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a power take-off shaft and a thrust shaft from interferring with each other, by coupling relay shafts with input ends of both power take-off shaft and thrust shaft, respectively, such that both relay shaft are vertically spaced from each other. CONSTITUTION:An engine unit 4 has an engine body 8 and a speed change gear unit 9 in the rear of the former. A thrust shaft 10 for driving a rear wheel and a power take-off shaft 11 are extended rearward from the speed change gear unit 9, being vertically spaced. The rear end of the thrust shaft 10 is coupled to a final speed reduction gear 13 through which the rear wheel 3 is driven. A power is deflected by means of a laterally extending relay shaft 32 and is transmitted to the thrust shaft 10 through bevel gears 33, 33, and the relay shaft 32 is set at a position which is offset being spaced downward from a relay shaft 30 for the power take-off shaft 11, that is, they are vertically arranged such that they are prevented from interferring with each other.</p> |
