The application relates to the improvement of installations for the mixing and drawing off of, for example, dry mortar, a plurality of stock vessels being provided for the various materials and said vessels being assigned to a proportioning and mixing apparatus. According to the invention, the stock vessels are designed as mobile transport silos, and the mixing apparatus is designed as central units disposed between two groups of stock vessels, the stock vessels for fine granular materials being disposed on one side of the mixing apparatus in a row, and the stock vessels for coarse granular materials being disposed on the other side of the mixing apparatus in a row, the two groups of stock vessels being connected to the mixing apparatus via one conveying device each, and each stock vessel having a proportioning apparatus. This results in the important advantage that only a simple (steel) construction with small-volume foundations is required and unloading of silo transport vehicles - an important cost factor - becomes unnecessary.
