The bait box comprises a pot (1) with lid (2) if desired. There are one or more internal collars (3) formed in the pot. The inner face of the collar can be vertical or slope upwards and it can be at the top edge or below it. In the latter case there can be a ventilation hole in the sidewall above it and also in the lid.
