摘要 PURPOSE:To measure the transient characteristic of a water hammer phenomenon and to simulate a desired closing mode by providing a stepping motor, transient recorder, arithmetic control part, etc. CONSTITUTION:A single-shot pulse is sent out while a standard valve is connected as a valve 22 to a feed pipe to measure the start position angle and stop position angle of the stepping motor 24. Then, the arithmetic control part 41 is placed in a control state and a motor 24 is rotated slowly at a constant speed; and it is confirmed that the standard valve starts in a full open state and stops in a full closed state. Further, a desired closing mode is selected over a loop at a display part 46 and a data signal corresponding to the mode is sent out of the control part 41 to rotate the motor 24 so that the standard valve is closed in the desired mode. Then, the transient recorder 31 starts simultaneously with the rotation of the motor 24 and a water hammer phenomenon in the feed pipe 3 is observed. Here, an X-Y recorder 32 is operated at the same time to outputs the variation of the hydraulic pressure in the pipe 3 with time as a hard copy, and the water hammer phenomenon in the closing mode is simulated.
