PURPOSE:To prevent excessive rotation of an engine, by a method wherein, in a device in which a throttle valve is opened and closed by a driving means based on a detecting value of an accel pedal position, when a trouble state, in which the throttle valve is left opened, is detected, the feed of fuel is forcibly controlled. CONSTITUTION:A titled control device generates a control signal of a throttle opening from a control signal generating means B according to the output of a position detecting means A, which detects the step-on position of an accel pedal 1 and controls the opening of a throttle valve 9 through the working of a driving means C by means of the signal. In which case, a throttle valve opening detecting means D is provided, and an output therefrom is inputted to a trouble detecting means E togetherwith the output of the position detecting means A. When it is detected that the throttle valve 9 is left opened in the zero position of the accel pedal 1, a trouble is decided to occur, and when a trouble is detected, the feed of fuel to an engine by means of a fuel feed device 14 is forcibly controlled according to the number of revolutions of an engine by means of a fuel feed forced control means F. |
