PURPOSE:To obtain a signal selection system transmitting a video signal, a sound signal and a data signal to a subscriber by applying time division multiplex to plural pieces of digital information and also applying frequency division multiplex to the signal subjected to time division multiplex with the video signal selected on other system. CONSTITUTION:A digital signal subjected to time division multiplex is applied with angular modulation by a digital angular modulator 16. The signal subjected to digital angular modulation is applied with the frequency multiplex with the video signal selected by an analog matrix switch 18 at a frequency division multiplex device (FDM)19 by using a selection signal from the subscriber. The analog matrix switch 18 is controlled by a control circuit 15 operated based on the selection signal from the subscriber. The video signal multiplexed by the time division multiplex and frequency multiplex means, digital information and a data signal from a data signal source 15 are transmitted to the subscriber through a transmission line 20 including a function converting them into a signal format proper to a transmission line. |
