发明名称 THERMAL TRANSFER RECORDING MATERIAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To contrive higher image preservability, by a method wherein an image-receiving layer comprising a UV abosrber and/or an anti-oxidant is provided on an image-receiving surface to be brought into contact with a transfer sheet. CONSTITUTION:The image-receiving layer comprising a UV absorber and/or an anti-oxidant is provided on the image-receiving surface brought into contact with the transfer sheet. Accordingly, transferred image with enhanced light resistance can be obtained. The melting points of the UV absorber and the anti-oxidant incorporated in the image-receiving layer are preferably 50-150 deg.C. When the melting points are lower than 50 deg.C, the image-receiving sheet becomes tacky, or blocking occurs. On the other hand, the UV absorber and the anti-oxidants having melting points of higher than 150 deg.C are not easily melted when being heated by a thermal head, so that they are not completely mixed with the transferred ink layer, and the effect thereof is markedly lowered.
