PURPOSE:To make it possible both to perform the filling easily within a short period and to lower the mixing of air when the filling is performed, by forming at least one hole in the outer surface of a hollow planar body, and constructing the core material in such a way that each wall of the cells of the core material has a hole to communicate with the adjacent cells. CONSTITUTION:A hollow planar body consists of two or more surface materials 1 with a certain interval between them and a core material 2 having cells sandwiched between them. The surface materials 1 and the core material 2 are bonded by a usual water-type or solvent-type adhesive, a hot-melt adhesive or the like or are welded by heating or ultrasonic wave. The air in the hollow planar body is evacuated from one or more holes 4 formed in the body using a vacuum pump or ejector while the body is filled with a certain amount of a solidifible heat accumulating material through another hole 5. The solidifiable heat accumulating material flows through two or more holes 3 formed in each cell of the core material 2 to fill the hollow planar body. |
