<p>The reactor coolant of a pressurized water reactor is purified by passing the coolant through an ion exchange resin bed containing a highly cross-linked, macroporous, strong acid resin derived from a monovinylidene aromatic and a cross-linking monomer copolymerizabie therewith. The cross-linking monomer is employed in amounts of at least 12 mole percent based on the total weight of the monovinylidene aromatic and cross-linking monomer.</p> |
