<p>The invention relates to a relatively compact, simple and accurate flow-control regulator for liquids or gases, the flow of which can be regulated between relatively low and high values and the speed of flow of which remains practically constant in spite of the pressure difference. This flow-control regulator can be applied, for example, to a protection device for water pipes. In the flow-control regulator, between the intake and outlet openings (2-7), there is mounted a regulating disc (9) with passage bores (10), against which disc is placed a regulating head (16) with an opening (19). A rotary shaft (11) is provided for obtaining a distortion between the regulating disc and the regulating head and adjustment of the opening (19) in front of a chosen passage bore (10). A drain channel (23) is provided in the rotary shaft (11) for evacuating the liquid or gas towards the outlet opening (7) and a regulating diaphragm (27) is mounted on the regulating head (16) for the partial or total closing of the obturation opening (26) of the channel (23) in order to keep the pressure constant upstream and downstream of the passage bore (10) used. <IMAGE></p> |
