摘要 The invention concerns a method for encapsulation of solid particles or viscous liquid drops of core material 27 in a coating material 21, largely as separate particles with a single coherent coating, in which a suspension of the two materials is fed onto a rotating surface 13. The suspension is dispersed centrifugally from the rotating surface to relatively large coated particles 27, 27a and relatively small drops 21a of coating material. Only the size of the drops of unused coating material corresponds to the drops that are formed during fine distribution of the volatile coating material. The size of the coated particles depends on the size of the uncoated particles and is much less, depending on the fine distribution properties in the rotating surface. After being flung from the rotating surface or falling from this surface, drops 21a solidify and the coated particles 17, 27a solidify by being exposed to air, whereupon they are separated by screening or the like. The solidified drops of pure coating material can be recirculated to the suspension. Coating of all the particles is achieved by dispersal of the individual components of core material in the coating material before the resulting suspension reaches the rotating surface. <IMAGE>
