PURPOSE:To provide favorable powder characteristics, fixability and offset resistance and to form an image free from fog and having superior durability by incorporating a carnauba wax modified silicone compound into a toner consisting of an outer wall and a core. CONSTITUTION:A carnauba wax modified silicone compound is incorporated into a toner consisting of the outer wall and the core material. When a toner image formed on transfer paper with the resulting toner is pressed with a pressing roll, the capsules are broken to release the sealed core material. Since the core material contains the carnauba was modified silicone compound having flowability or plasticity, it penetrates through the fibers of the transfer paper and is captured, so the toner image is clearly fixed. Since the electrostatic chargeability is stabilized, a fine image free from fog is formed. The fixed toner is not easily stipped by frictioi because of the satisfactory lubricating effect, and it has high durability. Since the toner particles are obtd. in a spherical shape by interfacial polymn., they have superior flowability and are preferably used in an electrophotographic process. |
