PURPOSE:To execute simultaneously magnetic recording and printing, and also to issue easily a magnetic business form various in size by providing a carrying mechanism part which can carry the business form in the longitudinal direction of a magnetic recording zone and also in both forward and backward directions. CONSTITUTION:In a magnetic recording and printing device 11, a business form 8 is drawn out of a feed paper part 23 by a carrying mechanism part 14, carried in the forward direction, and written magnetically in its magnetic recording zone by a magnetic head 24. Subsequently, the business form 8 is carried in the backward direction, information recorded in the magnetic recording zone is read by the head 24, and whether the information is correct or not is checked. When the information is correct, printing is executed by a printing head 30. In case the information is not correct, rewrite or an error processing is executed. In such a way, while the business form 8 is carried in both the forward and backward directions along the longitudinal direction of the magnetic recording zone, magnetic recording, read and printing are executed, the magnetic recording and printing can be executed simultaneously, and also a magnetic business form various in size can be issued easily. |
