A devolatizing heat exchanger having an annular body with an open end and a closed end. Axially extending heat exchange fluid conduits are axially disposed and radial product conduits are disposed in the annular body. A mixing chamber is enclosed within the annular heat exchanger discharging adjacent the enclosed end therof, the annular heat exchanger being enclosed within a jacketed vessel.
