PURPOSE:To obtain a color picture tube with little color slippage by mounting magnetic field control elements made of a magnetic metal in a torus plate shape on the outlets of the electron beam radiation holes on both sides of a cup-shaped body while mounting a magnetic field control element made of an about T- shaped or about U-shaped magnetic metal on a side wall of the cup-shaped body. CONSTITUTION:A cup-shaped body 1 is made of a nonmagnetic metal while the first and second magnetic field control elements 6 and 7 made of a magnetic metal in a torous plate shape are mounted on the base part 5, where three electron beam radiation holes 2, 3 and 4 inline-arranged in the horizontal direction are cut through, while respectively surrounding the vicinity of the outlets of the electron beam radiation holes 2 and 4 on both sides. Further, the third and fourth magnetic field control elements 8 and 9 made of an about T-shaped magnetic metal are mounted while reciprocally opposing the tips of the vertical wing parts 8b and 9b in front of the central electron beam radiation hole 3. Thereby, the size of a raster due to the central electron beam is extended in both horizontal and vertical directions while enabling to agree with the size of the raster due to both side electron beams. |
