PURPOSE:To effectively prevent the cross talk between channels, by allowing the end part of a collimator plate to protrude from the light output surface of a scintillator element. CONSTITUTION:The protruded ends 2a of collimator plates 2 for partitioning the scintillator elements 1 of each channel are closely contacted with a semiconductive substrate. Therefore, the lights generated by the scintillator elements 1 corresponding to the quantity of incident radioactive rays are perfectly prevented from being tranmitted to the other channel by the protruded ends 2a of the collimator plates 2 even during a time when said generated lights are emitted from the light output surfaces 1a of the scintillator elements 1 and transmitted through transparent adhesives 11. By this method, lights emitted from the scintillator elements 1 of each channel is certainly detected only by each photodiode optically connected at every channel and the generation of cross talk can be prevented. |
