PURPOSE:To obtain an electric machine having excellent operability and maintenability even when it is installed in a cubicle by a method wherein a tap charger is provided in such a manner that it does not protrude beyond the shorter-side surface of installation. CONSTITUTION:A high tension coil 2 and a low tension coil 3 are wound around, and a tap changing terminal base 5'' is fastened to outside of the high tension coil using a glass fiber tape wherein epoxy resin is impregnated, and they are hardened by applying heat. The terminal base 5'' is an epoxy resin cast article, and it is inserted into a cast molding. The tap lead wire 6 led out from the high tension coil 2 is soldered to the tap terminal 4. According to this constitution, the tap changing terminal base is not protruded in the depth direction of the coil, and an electric machine having excellent operability and maintenability can be obtained even when it is installed in a cubicle. |
