PURPOSE:To add a new function to a communication control device without stopping communication by extracting a new load module from a library, rearranging addresses and then loading the rearranged addresses to a communication control device. CONSTITUTION:The communication control device 2 includes a network control program (NCP) loading module. A load module to be a constitutional element of the NCP loading module is stored in the library 4. When a command to load the load module is inputted from a console 5, a host processor 1 extracts the load module from the library 4, rearranges its addresses and then command the device 2 to execute the load module. |
