PURPOSE:To simplify the adjustment and testing of a device such as a copying machine by converting data obtained from respective sensors into decimal numbers and displaying the data on a display device on the basis of normal units of temperature, voltage, etc. in accordance with the indication of a prescribed switch. CONSTITUTION:A copying machine is constituted of an exposure lamp unit 32, a fixing heater unit 33, a drum heater unit, 31, etc. and an operation board included in the copying machine is connected to a negative load power control unit 31 and information from the unit 31 is displayed on a copying number display device or the like of the copying machine in a specific display mode. To attain said display, a display selecting switch 37 is formed and information such as a voltage to be applied to an exposure lamp and temperatures close to a fixing heater and a drum heater which are obtained from the control system is selected by said switch 37. One selected information, e.g. the voltage to be applied to the exposure lamp is displayed together with identification information E for discriminating the displayed information as shown in ''65E'' of the drawing. Characters F and D are displayed as the fixing heater and the drum heater respectively. |
