PURPOSE:To secure an excellent water squeezing action without entailing any damage to service life and function in a belt itself, by installing an elastic material layer having a surface, where plural blind holes are formed over the whole surface, in one side of a woven ground fabric, while specifying each size of these blind holes. CONSTITUTION:An endless belt is provided with a forming surface 2 for blind holes and a smooth surface of an elastic material layer. And, an elastic material layer 5 provided with blind holes 51 is formed in one side of a nylon ground fabric layer 4 woven into double weaves 41 and 42, and a surface smoothing elastic material layer 6 is installed in the other side. At this time, each blind hole 51 is formed over the whole surface in making it somewhat tilt in an endless directon and parallel. And, each blind hole 51 is set to 1-4mm. in hole diameter, 1-5mm. in hole depth and 10-30% in numerical aperture, respectively. This endless belt 1 is used after making the said smooth surface 3 contact slidingly with a pressure shoe and also making the said forming surface 2 contact with felt. According to this method, an excellent water squeezing action is securable without entailing any damage to service life and function in the belt 1 itself. |
