Indole derivatives of the formula I <IMAGE> in which Ind denotes an indol-4-yl radical which is unsubstituted or mono- to trisubstituted by alkyl, O-alkyl, S-alkyl, OH, F, Cl and/or Br, A denotes -CnH2n- or -CHCH-CH2-, R denotes a phenyl or 2- or 3-thienyl radical which is unsubstituted or mono- or disubstituted by alkyl, F, Cl, Br and/or CF3 and n denotes 2, 3 or 4 and the alkyl groups in each case have 1-4 C atoms, and their salts have damping effects on the central nervous system, in particular neuroleptic effects. |
