PURPOSE:To effectively damp vibration of a rotary shaft by a support sleeve by disposing a contact point between the support sleeve and a fixed bearing member at a position having a different angle in the peripheral direction with respect to a contact point between the support sleeve and the rotary shaft. CONSTITUTION:A support sleeve 21 and a rotary shaft 18, and the support sleeve 21 and a fixed bearing member 11 are respectively brought into contact with each other at the inner and outer surfaces thereof at more than eight contact points specified in the peripheral direction. The contact point between the support sleeve 21 and th fixed bearing member is disposed at a position having a different angle in the peripheral direction with respect to the contact point between the support sleeve 21 and the rotary shaft 18. In this arrangement, the support sleeve 21 exhibits a damping function by friction to effectively damp radial vibration of the rotary shaft. |
