PURPOSE:To prevent the abnormal increase of the operating torque when a gas cock is not used for a long period, by filling the vacant chamber formed between the undersurface of a closing piece and the bottom part of a concaved part with fluid material under a constant pressure. CONSTITUTION:A vacant chamber 3 is formed between the bottom part 22 of the concaved part 21 of a cock body 2 and the undersurface of a closing piece 1, and the vacant chamber is filled with sealing grease 4. Since, when the grease is stored in excessive amount, the excessive grease transfers to the outer periphery side of the side surface of the closing piece 1 when the closing piece 1 is inserted into the concaved part 21, a suitable amount of sealing grease 4 is left in the concaved chamber 3. With such constitution, the increase of the operating torque due to the biting-in of the closing piece 1 can be prevented even if the closing piece 1 is left in a specific situation for a long period. |
