<p>The adjustable ski stick has two telescopic tubes. The upper extremity of the lower tube (2) has a threaded socket (3) fitted into it, or can be threaded inside (4). A springy plug (6), to lock the tubes together, is pushed into the exterior tube (1). A threaded rod (5) passes through the plug and screws into lower tube. The nut on the end of the rod is prevented from turning by the top of the plug (8). A socket (10), which is split longitudinally, surrounds the plug. A disc (9) is placed between the plug and the lower tube, to lessen friction.</p> |
