<p>PURPOSE:To draw and replace only an optical fiber without drawing and replacing an existent optical fiber overhead earth-wire wholly by connecting end parts to corresponding optical fiber composite overhead earth-wires after draw replacing operation, and then drawing said excessive-length stored part back to a support tower place and returning the whole of the overhead earth-wire to its original tensed laying state. CONSTITUTION:Fitting member 13 are detached from a support tower 5C to release the excessive-length stored part 1a of the overhead earth-wire 1. While the overhead earth-wire 1 is supported with a wire coupled with a come along 14, an anchor clamp 6a is detached and anchor clamps 6a of supported towers 5B and 5D are also detached. Then, the excessive-length stored part 1a of the overhead earth-wire 1 is sent in toward an interdiameter part to lower interdiameter connection parts 8A and 8B onto the ground, the interdiameter connection parts 8A and 8B are disassembled and disconnected, and both end parts of the overhead earth-wire 1 in a section L1 are placed in an end-surface open state. A new optical fiber cable C wound around a drum 16 is connected to one end of the existent optical fiber cable 2 exposed from the open end surface of one side of the overhead earth-wire 1, and the end part of the optical fiber cable 2 exposed from the open end surface of the other side is coupled with a take-up device 17, which is put in operation to draw the existent optical fiber cable 2 in the overhead earth-wire 1 and also draw the new optical fiber cable C into the overhead earth-wire 1.</p> |
