METHOD AND DEVICE FOR BENDING WORK AND HEAT TREATMENT OF METALLIC PIPE

PURPOSE:To make a bended tube having higher intensity and stiffness irrespective of the diameter of the tube by giving successively to the metallic tube profiling a tubular shape by No.1 heat treatment equipment and No.2 heat treatment equipment, the stage to cool a metallic tube after a local heating and bending work and the stage to re-heat and anneal. CONSTITUTION:No.1 heat treatment equipment 2 equipped with a high frequency heating coil and cooling means and No.2 heat treatment equipment 3 with a high frequency heating coil are connected with a guide roller 7 and proper gap holding and connecting equipment 10. The tube 1 pushed out being guided by a guide roll 5 is heated locally with No.1 equipment 2 and bent by the bending force of a bending arm 4. The bended tube 1 thereof is re-heated by No.2 equipment and the hardened structure is annealed. No.1 equipment is stopped after the bend to the prescribed shape and the heating part is wholely re-heated and annealed with the transfer No.2 equipment 3 by a transfer mechanism 6. The bended position and radius of curvature are determined by the length of the arm 4 and the pipe grasping position. The bended tube 1 is immediately annealed to maintain the high strength and high stiffness.
